Monthly or seasonal treatment for optimum health-maintenance. Recommended for everyone to keep your mind, body, & spirit feeling great by keeping the body’s vital life force energy (called qi – “chee”) flowing freely throughout your body.

In ancient China, people paid their acupuncturists and Chinese herbalists to keep them well. They did not pay if they got sick because it meant the practitioner was not doing her job!

Chinese medicine, including acupuncture, can greatly reduce the symptoms, severity, and/or duration of cold or flu.  One of the beauties of Chinese medicine is that it doesn’t mask or cover symptoms. It frees your body of the pathogen that caused your illness so that symptoms disappear naturally.  There are ways to benefit from Chinese medicine at home when you have a cold or flu. There are acupressure points for cough, congestion, sore throat, and more. There are very effective natural Chinese herbal pills. There is a therapeutic technique called “gua sha” that is easy to do.

Immune system support. The best way to combat respiratory issues is prevention. Respiratory conditions attack when our immune systems are weak. Acupuncture can strengthen your immune system to prevent allergy or asthma attacks, colds, and flu. If you have seasonal allergies, it’s best to get acupuncture for several weeks before your allergy triggers are present. The same goes for colds and flu – getting acupuncture before and during cold and flu seasons can prevent catching a virus or greatly reduce symptoms and duration.
