Acupuncture is an effective form of health care that has evolved into a complete and holistic medical system. Practitioners of acupuncture and Chinese medicine have used this noninvasive medical system to diagnose and help millions of people get well and stay healthy.
What makes us Special?
We are unique at Acupuncture Center, Inc. because we incorporate both the Chinese Organ-Meridian system and Chakra energy centers from Ayurveda to heal the human spirit. We also address the physical body with motor point techniques to both strengthen and relax muscles, and improve range of motion. Treatments are gentle, relaxing, and effective.
What will the Acupuncturist Do?
An acupuncturist will place fine, sterile needles at specific acupoints on the body. This activates the body’s Qi and promotes natural healing by enhancing recuperative power, immunity and physical and emotional health. It also can improve overall function and well-being. It is a safe, painless and effective way to treat a wide variety of medical problems.
Other techniques used to stimulate the surface of your skin to improve the flow of Qi are Electro-Stimulation, Cupping, Massage, Moxibustion (Moxa), and Skin Scrapping (Gua Sha).
We offer Specialty services such as:
- micro-current Acupuncture which is non-needle electronic pulse acupuncture. It is a non-needle stimulation of acupressure points using micro-current and color-light therapy (MEA).
- This same modality can be used for facial rejuvenation and facial reflexology for the whole body!
- AromaTune (tuning fork aromatherapy)
Acupuncture Treatment Menu
Some common reasons people seek acupuncture. This is only a small portion of all the conditions we can treat. |

Each of these treatment options can relieve and prevent your signs & symptoms by getting to the root of the problem to resolve the symptoms and avoid a recurrence.
TUNE UP
Monthly or seasonal treatment for optimum health-maintenance. Recommended for everyone to keep your mind, body, & spirit feeling great by keeping the body’s vital life force energy (called qi – “chee”) flowing freely throughout your body.
In ancient China, people paid their acupuncturists and Chinese herbalists to keep them well. They did not pay if they got sick because it meant the practitioner was not doing her job!

CHICKEN SOUP
We ask that you stay home when you have a cold or flu, and anytime you have a fever or cough. Your body needs for you to rest, stay warm, and drink plenty of fluids like water, ginger tea, or Echinacea tea.
Chinese medicine, including acupuncture, can greatly reduce the symptoms, severity, and/or duration of cold or flu. One of the beauties of Chinese medicine is that it doesn’t mask or cover symptoms. It frees your body of the pathogen that caused your illness so that symptoms disappear naturally. There are ways to benefit from Chinese medicine at home when you have a cold or flu. There are acupressure points for cough, congestion, sore throat, and more. There are very effective natural Chinese herbal pills. There is a therapeutic technique called “gua sha” that is easy to do.
FRESH AIR
Immune system support. The best way to combat respiratory issues is prevention. Respiratory conditions attack when our immune systems are weak. Acupuncture can strengthen your immune system to prevent allergy or asthma attacks, colds, and flu. If you have seasonal allergies, it’s best to get acupuncture for several weeks before your allergy triggers are present. The same goes for colds and flu – getting acupuncture before and during cold and flu seasons can prevent catching a virus or greatly reduce symptoms and duration.

KICK THE HABIT

|
This is an easy way to help you quit, detox, and maintain your abstinence from an addictive substance. You will not be questioned about your addiction. You will NOT be asked to talk about it. You will simply receive acupuncture in your ears. Piece of cake.
Interestingly, heavy smokers tend to respond so well to this ear treatment that they may kick the habit after only one treatment. Seriously!
